Delete Your Account & Data

You can ask us to delete your Drill Sergeant account and everything tied to it, at any time. This page explains exactly what is removed and how to request it.

Request Account Deletion

Delete It In The App

  • Open Drill Sergeant, open the menu, go to Settings, scroll down and tap "Delete account", then confirm.
  • Your account and everything listed below is removed from our server at once, and the app wipes its data on your phone.
  • No longer have the app? Use the email request below instead.

What Gets Deleted

  • Your account itself (the sign-in identity created when you continue with Google or Apple).
  • Your profile: handle, email address, email preferences, time zone, rank and lifetime points.
  • Your verified push-up sets and weekly scores, so you disappear from every leaderboard.
  • Your checkpoint log: each time you stood down, reported in or paid in push-ups at a guarded app.
  • Your squad links in both directions, your recruit code, and the record of who recruited whom.
  • Older records from version 1 of the app: daily objectives, hours worked and report history.
  • Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered. Extra service days you earned for a friend through a referral stay theirs.

How To Request Deletion

  • Email info@drillsergeantapp.com from the same email address you sign in to the app with. If you used Sign in with Apple and hid your email, write from your Apple ID email and tell us the app's relay address if you know it.
  • Use the subject line "Delete my account", or just tap the button below, which fills it in for you.
  • Sending from your sign-in email lets us verify the request is really you — we will not action a deletion request we cannot tie to the account.

What Happens Next

  • We confirm we have received your request.
  • Your account and all associated data described above are deleted within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
  • We email you to confirm once it is done.

Data On Your Device

  • Some of what the app tracks lives only on your phone, like which apps you guard and today’s checkpoint tally. Uninstalling the app, or "Reset all progress" in Settings, clears it immediately.
  • Uninstalling alone does NOT remove your account or the data on our server. Use "Delete account" in the app, or the email request above.

Subscriptions & Payments

  • If you subscribed, your payment is handled entirely by Google Play or the App Store — we never see or store your card details.
  • Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in the Google Play Store under Subscriptions, or on iPhone in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions.
  • Any purchase records Google or Apple keep are held by them under their own policies, not by us.
